Nobar Elmi Golhar is the Founder and CEO of Golmi Partners, a Washington, DC based corporate affairs and communications firm.
Nobar has over 20 years of experience in strategic messaging, advocacy, and community and stakeholder engagement across multiple geographies (CA, TX, NY, DC) and sectors (private, public, non-profit).
Nobar helps her clients better communicate complex issues to diverse audiences to drive action. She blends technical expertise and a combination of unique qualitative traits — such as empathy, optimism, and a growth mindset — to be a true partner for her clients.
Nobar has deep experience in the private sector having spent time at two prominent public affairs firms and a global corporate advisory firm.
In the non-profit space, Nobar led community outreach for an advocacy organization focused on diplomacy and civic engagement, and in the public sector, Nobar served as the legislative liaison for a state agency.
Nobar has a Master's in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Pepperdine University. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Miami University of Ohio.
In her free time, Nobar and her husband are often cheering on their two boys on the sidelines of a soccer field or at taekwondo. Nobar is also the founder of Our 6 Degrees, a membership organization for executive women.
